There are three kinds of reach on Facebook – organic reach, paid reach and viral reach. Organic reach is the number of individuals who see your post when you post it. While paid reach is the number of more individuals who see your post when paying just to show it up in other news feeds. And lastly, the viral reach, that is the number of people who see your Facebook post based on likes, comments and shares of other people who see it through paid and organic reach.

However, Facebook is now limiting promoting page reach and organic reach, yet they can do nothing to limit and control viral reach. Viral posts are a measure of how good your post is and how well you encourage Facebook users to share with them such as infographics, Facebook memes, etc. To maximize the chances of a good viral post, you must do everything to make your post appealing.
