1. There's this post from James Denham which terrified lots of people. It's an image depicting of two young girls hanging a puppy with a string in a picture. It was paired up with a text that says “Share this picture”. Comments flooded out instantly. Later on he realized that the photo was shared for about 70,000 times and he was among of those who had just seen and shared the photo. The culprits were told to be found already, so the man informed the long trail of people who commented on his post.
But the habit of sharing is rapidly going fast. He can't do anything for it to stop even if he wanted to. Up to now, this terrifying Facebook meme of two girls brutally killing the puppy would still go and roam around the internet.

2. Then there's also this kind of Facebook meme which you happen to encounter everyday if you're always online. It relates to racism. Examples and variations of this topic would come out frequently up to now. But the idea of it started actually with one picture of a stewardess having a talk with an old white woman.

The photo's not that really offensive for everyone. It's the caption and story paired up with it that lead people to cause hateful reactions online. As what the story says, the white woman complained that she was seated beside a black man. She demanded that she wanted a replacement, for she will let the stewardess have her seat if she can't have another one. The meme elicited angry comments among huge number of people. Later on, investigation revealed that the situation was a hoax. Its purpose is to heighten up the temper of the people or group related in the photo.

3. The privilege of doing Facebook memes opened an opportunity for everyone to post anything they like and want. Blasphemies and threats occurred because of that. The format usually would tell “Like and Share If You Want” with Jesus Christ's background and “Ignore If You Want The Devil” with a demon's face on the background. These photos are usually made and done by shameless users who aims to confuse Christians and other religions in the internet. What's bad with this is that the meme forces people to like it because they don't wanted to be considered as one of the devil's advocate. As for the others who are immune to such schemes, well they are lucky enough not to fall trap with it.
